Working Equitation Clinic

Join us for a great learning opportunity at the Oregon Horse Center’s Prairie Arena on the Monday following our March WE show!
We’ll have two fabulous clinicians: USAWE Judge Erica Peet and her husband Howard Peet. Both of them are serious WE competitors and trainers, and they recently returned from attending a Master Class taught by WE guru Pedro Torres!
Erica will be our judge in March, and Howard will be participating in the show (riding HC, as a schooling ride with a young horse), so they should have plenty of insights from the competition to bring to the lessons.
Cost:
- $125 for people who participated in the show (includes an extension of your stabling from the weekend)
- $150 for people who are coming just for the clinic (includes stabling on Monday)
- $25 auditors
Each rider will have the chance to participate in a 2-hour group lesson on the obstacles and a 20-minute private session on dressage fundamentals.
Structure of the Day
Small group instruction on the obstacles
8:00 – 10:00 – GROUP 1 – Obstacle instruction (limited to 8 riders, maximum)
10:00 – 12:00 – GROUP 2 – Obstacle instruction (limited to 8 riders, maximum)
12:00 Lunch break (please plan on bringing your own food)
12:30 – All hands on deck – help put the obstacles away
