The mission of the Oregon Horse Council Foundation is to enhance Oregon’s equine industry by:
- conducting studies and research (which will include the 2023 Oregon Equine Survey),
- providing important data to support equine initiatives;
- producing training courses, seminars, and forums for all equestrians to learn, share, and engage with strengthening our industry;
- work to promote and improve relationships in the Oregon equine industry; and
- host charitable fundraising to provide scholarships for educational and equine health and wellness purposes.
The Oregon Horse Council Foundation was founded as a 501c3 arm of the Oregon Horse Council. It’s board is made up of OHC board members and it’s mission supports and improves the work done by the state council.
