Deschutes County Expo Center
With over 120 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds (and nearly 200 additional acres of parking or trail courses), the Deschutes County Expo Center is the perfect facility for your equine event. Centered in Redmond, Oregon, the heart of Central Oregon, we are steps away from Highway 97 and next door to the Redmond Airport, making easy access to participants from anywhere in Oregon or the PNW.
For equestrian events, the DCEC offers a gorgeous indoor arena with 4,000 permanent seats, a 40,000 square foot floor with 18″ of dirt footing, space for 70 vendors, 2 concession stands, multiple bar spaces, locker rooms, ticket booths, and production rooms. On the grounds, we have 400 onsite stalls (with space for nearly 300 temporary stalls), a 105 site full hook-up campground, space for 200+ dry camping spots, a large covered arena, a full set-up outdoor rodeo arena, and plenty of space to make trail or obstacle courses.
For your banquets, fundraisers, or non-horse events, we have 3 halls with built in sound that can seat up to 600 people.
Current equestrian events include Cascade Futurity, High Desert Stampede PRCA Rodeo, Sanctuary Barrel Races, Xtreme Barrel Race, Columbia River Circuit Finals, Columbia River Reining, and Cantastic Barrel Race Series.
