Meet Casey Franklin, Thoroughbred Real Estate

Q: How did you get into real estate?

Casey: After 15 years in marketing and sales, I was consistently perusing real estate, but with no urgent plan to move. I was just hooked. I still wonder why I waited so long to make the leap into a career I love! I’d always been included in my family’s endeavors in recreational, commercial and light-industrial investment properties. Buying my first home at age 25 has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Q: What about you do you think makes you cut out for this work?

Casey: To know me is to know I can be somewhat competitive. Putting a deal together fills that bucket for me. Matching property with buyers and sellers is like putting a puzzle together. Real estate offers variety and the opportunity to help people improve their lives whether upsizing or downsizing. I love the unique challenges and experiences each transaction brings. Having knowledge and understanding of acreage property as it relates to hobby farms (or much larger) has been pure joy to share with others.

Q: What’s the biggest change you’ve experienced over the past year?

Casey: I’m fortunate to say business has improved in the last year. I do wish it felt safer and more appropriate to celebrate together with clients after a transaction closed. I’m grateful for the understanding and support of clients as I temporarily worked through home-schooling (due to COVID) in my home office. More recently, and as a consequence of market conditions, it’s become evident that buyers and sellers need smart, experienced representation more than ever in today’s market!
