Can you help AHRE with this new surrender?

This mare is an owner surrender that we intercepted on Friday evening. We would have posted her sooner, but just have been so busy. We have little information on her background, and have been told that she is registered. We will be working with the previous owner to secure her papers. She is younger, said to be 9 years old, her teeth confirm she is young. Her situation was urgent, as her owner had said to have her for a just a short time, was recently injured, and realized she was unable to provide the horse with what she needs. We are glad we were able to intercept before the mare’s condition worsened. The mare is thin and has wounds all over. She has an gash in her jaw from the halter. We are treating her, she is intelligent and will need to be started under saddle. We were told she spent most of her life in a pasture with little human contact. Her name is Flicker, however, since she does not respond to this name, we are hoping to give her a more suited name. A new name for her new start. If you would like to become her full monthly sponsor of $150 a month, we will grant you naming rights. If a group of people all want to get together giving monthly that equals $150, then as a group, you can name her. If you would like to sponsor this cute little mare, send us a pm for more info. This mare needs groceries, wound treatment, and basically started from the ground up for training. She is super cute, and we can’t wait to see her blossom.  It is your support that makes it possible to accept owner surrenders that are at risk.
