The 2023 Oregon Outdoor Recreation Summit (in partnership with the Oregon Trails Summit) combines fun and high impact, in-person networking opportunities with conference programming on the important issues of the day, educational content, trails stewardship work parties, and in-field tours and workshops.

The summit will convene Oregon’s diverse outdoor community to learn, build relationships, and find solutions to the challenges in developing and elevating outdoor recreation opportunities for all. This year we’re thrilled to be partnering with The Mill in North Bend and many great community partners to bring a wonderful event to Oregon’s Southern Coast. We hope to see you there!

Help shape the summit program!

Our call for session proposals is open now. We’d love to know what you have to share with Oregon’s outdoor recreation and trails community. The summit planning committee is welcoming proposals for one-hour breakout sessions, longer-form workshops, field trips, tours, and in-field trainings.

We welcome and encourage proposals from the full diversity of our Oregon outdoor recreation community:

• from agency staff, volunteers, academics, tourism partners, and private sector professionals,
• from urban trails to wilderness, from motorized and non-motorized perspectives, hunters and anglers, and land and water recreation-related topics,
• from all cultural backgrounds, and from all corners of Oregon and those with lessons to share from beyond our state’s borders.
