The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine is looking for horse owners to help with their 2024 Horse Genetics Survey:
The Horse Genetics Survey examines the current state of knowledge in horse genetics across the U.S. horse industry as an important part of a broader project launched by the Horse Genome Workshop. The workshop members, who are committed to providing the most up-to-date equine management information to horsemen and horsewomen, are conducting this study with the goal of developing educational programs and resources that meet the practical needs of those working with and caring for horses, as well as to better inform future research regarding horse health and management.
You must be 18 years or older to participate. It only takes about five minutes to complete. The survey ends this week!
For questions concerning the study, please contact Dr. Samantha Brooks (samantha.brooks@ufl.edu)
