The Partnership for the National Trails System (PNTS) is accepting applications for the Trail Apprentice Program for young leaders. The Trail Apprentice Program provides scholarships to those interested in a career in recreation, natural resource management, conservation, environmental studies, history, or a related field, so that they can attend the PNTS virtual fall workshop for free and participate in career exploration, networking and educational opportunities amongst the National Trails community. The program will run from October 2021 through January 2022. Applicants must be between the age of 18–28 with an interest in the National Trails System.
