Horse Tales – Youth Book Club

The Oregon Horse Council is excited to launch our new HORSE TALES – Youth Book Club!  Designed for ages 8-16 (but all ages are welcome), we will announce a book each month for you to read (they can often be found at your local library, through book apps, or will be affordable to purchase).  After you read the book, come back to this page and take a short quiz so we know that you completed the book.  After 6 quizzes (with the majority of the answers correct), we will send you a fun prize package full of horse themed goodies!  Anyone can participate!  The prizes will be suited for youth who do or do not own/lease horses.

The goal of this program is to encourage horse lovin’ kids to immerse themselves in reading on one of their favorite topics.  Whether you have never seen a horse, or ride one everyday, reading about horses and then winning fun horse goodies is a treat for any kiddo (and adults too!)!  Tell all of your friends to join us!

Registration for the club is FREE, but we do need your basic information so that we can send you notices, mail your prize packages, and have surprises pop up along our reading journey!
