Mounted GPS bandit hunt

Come join the Crook County Mounted Sheriffs Posse on a mounted GPS bandit hunt! We provide the GPS coordinates and the bandits. The goal is to ride to GPS location and “capture” the Bandit by taking a picture with your cell phone. Prizes are available for those that manage to “capture” all the Bandits. Can be done in a group or by yourself!
When: May 13th 2023 Lone Pine Rangers Arena (Crooked River Grasslands between Madras and Prineville)
9:00am registration and check in starts
10:00am go over using CalTopo phone app for GPS, for those that do not have their own GPS units hand units, or have not used GPS on their phone and need help
11:00am first Riders out, last rider out by 11:45am
2:30pm Riders must be back so that their Bandit Captures can be verified and prizes to follow.

The nitty gritty stuff: All riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, all riders under 18 must wear a helmet, no dogs please.
