DESCRIPTION:Another Bill Richey clinic! Bill Richey\, the founder and CEO of National Mounted Police Services\, Inc. is a POST certified mounted police instructor. He was instrumental in creating the mounted units for the city of Duluth\, also in Forsyth and Gilmer Counties (Georgia) and training their officers and horses. He worked with Atlanta Police Mounted Unit in preparation for the 1996 Olympics and is also involved in reorganizing the unit. He was the chief instructor for Mobile Mounted Police Mardi Gras School. Mr. Richey has participated in and won or placed in every national mounted police competition he has entered. He has over 30 years of experience as a mounted police officer\, and almost as many as a trainer/instructor. He has spent countless hours training officers and civilians from all over the United States\, as well as their mounts\, to perform safely and professionally\, from the trail to the show ring to Mardi gras.The clinic starts off slow and goes the speed of the lowest rider. DESCRIPTION:Clinician: Bobbi Hall\n\n\n\nLocation: Indoor Arena\, 65745 White Rock Lp.\, Bend\, OR 97703\n\n\n\nFormat:\n\n\nSaturday will have 2 sessions that you can pick from\, AM– 9:00 – 12:00\, or PM– 1:00 – 4:00.\n\n\nThese sessions will include working on cow work for sorting\, controlling cattle in and out of the herd\, and turn-back positions.\n\n\nAll participants are encouraged to audit the session that you are not riding in.\n\n\nSunday all participants will return at 9:00 am\, and make lots of 3-Man Sorting runs. We will work on positions\, speed\, communication and being more efficient at the sport. We will plan on being done around 3:00 pm.\n\n\n\nThere will be a 3-go drawpot included with your clinic entry Sunday afternoon. The winner will receive a Hall’s Handmade Snaffle Bit.
