This sport combines the finesse and geometry of dressage\, the challenge of various obstacles\, and the adrenaline rush of a speed round! Talk about a ton of fun with your horse and friends….. Well that is WE in a nutshell! \nOur April clinic will be taught by Debbie Parshall\, owner of Harmony Ridge Equestrian Center and experienced WE coach. Debbie’s clinics are a fun and friendly way to introduce you and your horse to the obstacles of WE\, to work on improving what you may already have started on your own\, or to help elevate your skills for competition. Debbie will teach you the correct way to complete each obstacle\, how to approach and depart from obstacles\, and how to navigate a course of obstacles in a way that fosters relaxation for horse and rider. \nCost for the clinic is $150 per rider. Payment and registration are required in advance. Click HERE to learn more and register. All riders must also complete a medical release form\, which can be emailed to showmanager@loequestrian.org or printed and brought to the clinic. \nQuestions? Email showmanager@loequestrian.org \n

SUMMARY:Halloween WE show
DESCRIPTION:This will be a B-Rated Working Equitation competition\, licensed by WE United. \nENTER ONLINE AT: https://forms.gle/hBNetb6AzhdXjkXe7 \nEntry Fee: $225 (OHC Boarders who do not need stabling can request a $100 discount because they don’t need a stall) \nTack Stall: $100 \nJust-for-fun Leadline modified Ease of Handling: $10 \nEntry fees include first bag of shavings\, and stabling from Friday\, 3 pm (honestly — NO EARLIER — if you arrive prior to 4 pm on Friday\, please plan to pay a ‘haul in fee’ to OHC and amuse yourself in the main facility rather than coming to the Prairie Arena). To enable me to continue to offer shows\, no refunds will be given for any reason\, including inclement weather. (This also means that if your horse needs to be scratched for a vet issue\, you will not receive a refund. If you MUST scratch\, you are welcome to ‘sell’ your spot to someone who was not able to get in before entries closed — they still need to enter\, but we can apply your entry fee to their bill\, and you can collect the money from them in return). Sorry about this (I know from personal experience how stressful it can be when a medical issue or something else outside our control makes a scratch necessary\, but I also can’t keep absorbing everyone else’s costs).
